May 15th is Neighborhood Day - Time for the AH Yard Sale

Arlington's 14th Annual Neighborhood Day is scheduled for Saturday May 15, 2010 and it will be here before you know it.  It's always a great day filled with fun things to do like fitness fairs, community park cleanups, the Animal Welfare League's Walk for the Animals, and of course, THE AHCA YARD SALE.  The perfect time for Ashton Heights residents to do a little spring cleaning and earn some money or get something for a great price!  The AHCA yeard sale runs from 8:00 AM to noon -- giving you plenty of time to enjoy the rest of Neighborhood Day.

As in years past, a map of all the participating locations will be available the morning of the sale to ensure those bargain hunters make it to your home.  The map will also include an index of the types of items available at each site, so start planning now.  Donna Banks wil take care of the advertising -- the sale will be listed on Arlington County's Neighborhood Day website, Craig's List and the Washington Post.  Please contact Donna if you would like to participate in or need more information on this fun event.
