The 6th Annual Arlington Turkey Trot

Christ Church of Arlington is hosting its 6th annual Arlington Turkey Trot, a 5 kilometer fun run/walk through Lyon Park and Ashton Heights on Thanksgiving morning - November 24, 2011. The run starts at 8:00 AM.  The course is certified by USA Track & Field -- you can download a copy of the race map.

Only 300 people were in the first race in 2006. In 2010, more than 2,300 entered the race ... and the number keeps growing!  Last year, it was booked well before Thanksgiving. Register now so you don't lose your spot.

The Arlington Turkey Trot has become a family tradition for many in the Arlington community. The mission of the race is to provide an opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy a fun, healthy Thanksgiving activity together, and to raise support for three local charities: Arlington-Alexandria Coalition for the Homeless (AACH), Doorways for Women & Families, and Arlington Food Assistance Center.
